HOW THE SITE WORKS & RULES
How Does the Site Work?
1. Registration and Profile Creation
• Register with email/password or your Google account
• Complete your profile information (phone, region)
• You will be placed at the bottom of the pyramid in your selected region
2. Pyramid System
• Each region has its own pyramid (North, East, West, Central, South)
• Rank 1 = Top position, lower number = better rank
• You can challenge only the first 5 active players ranked above you in your region. Frozen players are skipped when counting the 5.
3. Challenge Process
• Click on a player in the pyramid to challenge them
• Your opponent receives an email notification
• Your opponent has 3 days to "Accept" or "Decline"
• If there is no response within 3 days, the challenge expires (no automatic win).
• Once accepted, both players see each other’s contact info and can organize the match
4. Match Organization
• The challenger is responsible for organizing the match
• Court booking: The challenger finds and books the court
• Communication: Contact your opponent via the shared contact info
• Timing: The match should be played within 7 days of acceptance
• Court costs: Usually split 50/50 unless agreed otherwise
5. Recording Match Results
• ONLY THE CHALLENGER can record the result
• Go to "My Challenges" section on your profile page and click "Record Result"
• Enter the set scores correctly (example: 6-4, 6-3)
• Rank change logic: If the winner was ranked below the opponent, the winner takes the opponent’s rank and everyone at or below that rank (except the winner) moves down by 1. If the winner was already ahead, ranks do not change.
6. Profile Management
• View your activities in "My Challenges" and "My Matches" tables
• Manage region changes and profile deletion
Pyramid Rules
Challenging: You can challenge only the first 5 active players ranked above you in your region. Frozen players are skipped when counting the 5. Challenges are only valid within the same region. Only one pending challenge is allowed between the same two players (either direction).
Winning: If you were below your opponent, you take your opponent’s rank and all players with ranks ≥ that rank (except you) move down by 1. If you were already ahead, ranks do not change.
Losing: If you lose and the winner takes your rank, you move down by 1; otherwise your rank stays the same.
New members: New players are added to the bottom of their region (rank = max + 1).
Leaving members: When a member leaves or is deleted, everyone behind them moves up by 1. Any pending challenges involving that member are cancelled.
Region Changes
Frequency: You can only change regions once per year
Waiting period: 365 days
Explanation: When you change regions, you are placed at the bottom of the new region's pyramid. You must wait 365 days before your next region change.
Challenge Declining
Limit: You may decline at most 3 challenges within any 30‑day period. Further declines will be blocked until the limit window resets.
Privacy: Contact information is only shared after a challenge is accepted.
Fair play: Only decline for legitimate reasons (injury, travel, etc.). Consider using account freeze if you will be unavailable.
Time Limits
Challenge response: 3 days to accept/decline. If there is no response, the challenge expires.
Match organization: Aim to arrange and play the match within 7 days of acceptance.
Result recording: The challenger should record the result promptly after the match.
Email Notifications
Challenge issued: When you challenge someone, the challenged player receives an email and can accept/decline.
Challenge accepted: Both players receive a confirmation email to arrange the match.
Challenge declined: The challenger is notified by email.
Match result: After the challenger records the score, both players receive the result by email.
Membership confirmation: Upon completing your profile, you receive a welcome/confirmation email.
